adapts as you improve — not random workouts.
Does the AI coach create periodized plans or random workouts?
Structured, periodized programming. The AI builds a weekly
training plan that progresses intentionally based on your
history and readiness.
What inputs does the AI coach use to personalize my training?
Goals, sport, experience level, readiness data, training
history, and — if connected — wearable biometrics
like HRV and sleep data.
Can the programming adapt when my recovery is poor?
Yes. Daily readiness scoring flags when your body needs a
lighter load, and the system adjusts recommendations
accordingly.

Does the AI coach use wearable data?
Yes, if you choose to connect a wearable. HRV, sleep, and
recovery data feed into readiness scoring, which informs
coaching recommendations.
Does Movement Rebels replace a medical professional?
No. Movement Rebels provides educational and informational
content only — not medical advice, diagnosis, or

PROGRAMS, SPORT LAB & FITNESS TESTS
What training programs are available?
56 programs across gymnastics, strength, Olympic lifting,
handstands, mobility, bulletproof prehab, conditioning, and
biohacking. Deep Focus programs (45-60 min) replace your regular
training 3-5x per week. Light Focus programs (15-25 min) run
alongside your existing training for mobility, prehab,
breathwork, or biohacking. Most athletes run one Deep Focus and
one or two Light Focus programs simultaneously.
What is Sport Lab?
Sport Lab generates AI-powered sport-specific training plans.
Pick your sport and position, select a performance gap, and get
a custom weekly plan built around your needs. 22 sport-specific
blueprints are available, covering CrossFit, Hyrox,
powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, OCR, combat sports, soccer,
cycling, running, swimming, and more. Sport Lab is a Pro+
feature.
What fitness tests does the app include?
Two assessment systems. Engine Tests cover running, rowing,
cycling, swimming, and bodyweight holds — measuring your
aerobic and anaerobic capacity. Athlete Baseline assesses
foundational fitness through plank, dead hang, push-ups,
balance, and vertical jump. Both show your percentile ranking by
age and gender so you can see exactly where you stand.
What is the Strength & 1RM Calculator?
Calculate your estimated one-rep max from any rep scheme (e.g. 5
reps at 80 kg). The calculator then shows where you rank against
global strength standards — adjusted for your age, gender,
and bodyweight using data from 80M+ lifts. Classification ranges
from Beginner to Elite across all major barbell lifts.
Does the app include exercise demonstrations?
Yes. The exercise encyclopedia covers 305 exercises with 255+
video demonstrations. Each entry includes coaching cues, scaling
options, and muscle group targeting. Videos are embedded
directly in programs and workouts for instant reference during
training.
WORKOUT LIBRARY & TRAINING
What does the workout library include?
Over 3,900 workouts across training styles — standalone
sessions, structured programs, benchmark WODs, Hero workouts,
and challenges.

Can I run workouts from my phone?
Does Movement Rebels include a workout timer?
Yes. A built-in WOD timer (AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata, intervals) is
included in all plans including Free.
What is a benchmark or Hero workout?
Benchmark workouts (like “Fran” or
“Cindy”) are standard tests used to measure fitness
progress over time. Hero workouts are named sessions dedicated
to fallen service members. Both are part of the library.

What is readiness scoring in Movement Rebels?
A daily score reflecting your current recovery status, built
from self-reported check-ins (sleep quality, soreness, mood,
energy) and — if connected — biometrics like HRV and
sleep data.
What biohacking tools are included?
Pro+ includes breathwork protocols, cold exposure tracking, a
fasting timer, NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest) sessions, and daily
readiness scoring.
Which breathwork styles are available?
Wim Hof-style breathing, box breathing (4-4-4-4), and 4-7-8
breathing are currently included.
Does Movement Rebels include cold exposure tracking?
Yes. Log cold sessions with temperature, duration, and notes
— useful for monitoring your protocol and correlating it
with training performance.
Does Movement Rebels include a fasting timer?
Yes. A fasting timer tracks your eating window and fasting
duration.
What is NSDR in Movement Rebels?
Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) sessions are guided rest protocols
designed to support recovery, reduce cortisol, and improve
mental clarity without requiring sleep.
Are biohacking tools available on Free?
Yes. Biohacking tools are part of the 7-day free trial and stay
available on the free tier afterward, alongside a curated
workout selection, a WOD timer, and activity logging. Pro+

Can I use Movement Rebels without tracking biometrics?
Yes. Wearables are entirely optional. Manual check-ins give you
full readiness scoring without connecting any device.
What check-in data does the readiness score use?
Sleep quality, muscle soreness, mood, and energy level —
all self-reported. Add wearable biometrics for a more
data-driven score.
Does the AI coach use biometrics for recommendations?
Yes. If connected, wearable biometric trends feed into readiness
scoring, which the AI uses to adjust training recommendations.
NUTRITION, MACROS & CALAI
What is CalAI?
CalAI is Movement Rebels' AI-powered nutrition tool. Snap a
photo of your meal and get an instant breakdown of estimated
calories, protein, carbs, and fat. Uses 1 AI credit per snap
— available on every tier.
How accurate is CalAI's food photo analysis?
CalAI uses vision AI to estimate macros from a photo. It's
designed for quick, practical tracking rather than lab-grade
precision. Accuracy improves with clear, well-lit photos of
individual plates.
Does CalAI store or share my food photos?
Photos are processed in real-time for analysis and are not
stored on our servers. The estimated macros are saved to your
food log, but the image itself is not retained.
Does Movement Rebels include a macro calculator?
Yes. The built-in macro calculator estimates your daily calorie
and macronutrient targets based on your weight, height, activity
level, and goal (cut, maintain, or build).
Can I track my daily food intake?
Yes. Log meals manually or use CalAI's photo analysis. Your
daily food log tracks calories, protein, carbs, and fat against
your personalized targets.
Does the AI coach factor nutrition into my training plan?
The AI Performance Coach focuses on training programming and
recovery. Nutrition tools (CalAI, macro calculator, food log)
run alongside your training to give you a complete picture, but
the coach does not prescribe meal plans as medical or dietary
advice.
Can I set dietary restrictions or preferences?
Yes. Set dietary preferences (vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free,
gluten-free, etc.) in your profile. These are used to
personalize recipe suggestions and meal plan ideas.
Is nutrition tracking available on Free?
The macro calculator is available on all plans. CalAI photo
analysis and personalized meal suggestions are part of the 7-day
free trial, and Pro+ ($20/month) keeps them with unlimited AI.
WEARABLES & INTEGRATIONS
Which wearables and apps does Movement Rebels connect to?
Garmin Connect, Wahoo, Polar, Strava, and Concept2 Logbook are
all live, plus Apple Health on the iPhone app and Google Health
Connect on Android. Garmin syncs HRV, sleep, recovery and
activity data. Wahoo syncs rides from your ELEMNT computer and
indoor sessions from your KICKR. Polar syncs heart rate,
training load and session data. Google Health Connect pulls in
workouts from any Android app that writes to it. Strava imports
your activities. Concept2 brings in every RowErg, BikeErg and
SkiErg piece. WHOOP and Oura are not connected today.
Does Movement Rebels work with my Concept2 (RowErg, BikeErg,
SkiErg)?
Yes. Connect your Concept2 Logbook from Profile, Integrations
and every piece syncs into your training log on its own. Your
whole erg history imports the moment you connect, and new pieces
show up a few seconds after you finish. The coach reads your
splits, watts and stroke rate like any other session.
Does Movement Rebels work with Google Health Connect?
Yes. On Android, Movement Rebels reads from Google Health
Connect. Any app that writes workouts, heart rate, or activity
data to Health Connect on your device can feed into Movement
Rebels. Open the Android app, go to Profile, Integrations, and
grant Health Connect permission. Your data starts flowing
immediately.
Does Movement Rebels work with Wahoo?
Yes. Connect your Wahoo account from Profile, Integrations.
ELEMNT bike computers sync outdoor rides automatically after
every session. KICKR smart trainers sync indoor workouts the
same way. The coach reads your power, heart rate, and duration
exactly as it would a Garmin session. There is nothing to export
or upload manually.
Does Movement Rebels work with Polar?
Yes. Connect your Polar account from Profile, Integrations. Your
Polar watch or heart rate sensor syncs session data, heart rate,
and training load directly into your training log. The coach
sees each session the same way it sees a Garmin or Wahoo session
and factors it into your weekly plan.
What is the "Coached by" line on my Strava activities?
When you connect Strava, Movement Rebels adds a short line to
the bottom of each new activity: the coach's one-line read of
the session plus "Coached by movementrebels.com". It is on by
default and only touches activities from the moment you connect
onward. Turn it off anytime from the Strava card in Profile,
Integrations.
How do I get my planned sessions onto my Garmin watch?
Connect Garmin, then turn on "Push planned sessions" in the
Garmin card under Profile, Integrations. Every session the coach
schedules then lands on your Garmin calendar and watch, so you
can start it from your wrist. It stays off until you switch it
on, and switching it off stops new sessions from pushing.
What data can Movement Rebels pull from my wearable?
With explicit consent: HRV, resting heart rate, sleep data,
recovery scores, activity data, and certain body metrics
depending on the device.
Do I have to connect a wearable?
No. Wearables are optional and require your explicit
authorization. Full value is available with manual tracking
only.
How does wearable authorization work?
You grant permissions for specific data scopes through an
authorization flow. Nothing is pulled without your explicit
consent.
Can I disconnect a wearable later?
Yes. Disconnect anytime from your settings. Syncing stops
immediately, and you can request deletion of stored data.
Can I import data without a direct integration?
Yes. Manually enter data or import from exported files such as
CSV or JSON.
