Connect Wahoo to Movement Rebels

Your Wahoo ELEMNT records every outdoor ride. Your KICKR tracks every indoor session. Movement Rebels reads both and puts the coach's take on each one in your training log a few seconds after you finish.

What connects: ELEMNT and KICKR

Movement Rebels integrates with the Wahoo ecosystem through your Wahoo account. Once connected, two types of sessions flow in automatically.

ELEMNT bike computers sync outdoor rides. Power, heart rate, speed, distance, elevation, and lap data all come through. If you ride with a power meter on your ELEMNT, the coach sees your normalized power, intensity factor, and training stress alongside the raw numbers.

KICKR smart trainers sync indoor workouts. ERG sessions, free rides, and structured workouts all appear in your training log. The coach reads watts, heart rate, and duration exactly as it would an outdoor ride.

You do not need both. Connect whichever device you use.

Setting up the Wahoo integration

Open the Movement Rebels app or web app. Go to Profile, then Integrations. Find the Wahoo card and tap Connect.

You will be taken to the Wahoo login screen. Sign in with your Wahoo account credentials. Wahoo will ask you to authorize Movement Rebels to read your activity data. Approve it.

Once authorized, your recent Wahoo history imports automatically. New sessions appear in your training log within seconds of syncing to the Wahoo app.

What the coach does with your Wahoo data

Every Wahoo session becomes a data point the coach works from.

After each ride, the coach writes a short analysis in your training log. It reads your power distribution across the session, flags where you faded or surged, and checks whether the session matched your plan for the day. On threshold rides it compares your target and actual power. On easy rides it checks whether you stayed in zone.

Over weeks, the coach tracks your training load and uses it when generating your next weekly plan. A hard block of Wahoo sessions shifts the following week toward recovery. A light week opens room to push.

Paired with a training plan

If you are on a Movement Rebels program, Wahoo data feeds directly into how the coach adapts your plan. Miss a session, do less than planned, or come in with elevated fatigue from a hard outdoor ride, and the coach adjusts the next session to match where you actually are.

The coach does not treat indoor and outdoor sessions as separate. A hard KICKR session counts the same as a hard road ride when building your weekly load picture.

Disconnecting Wahoo

Go to Profile, Integrations, open the Wahoo card and tap Disconnect. No new sessions will sync after that. Your existing Wahoo history in Movement Rebels stays in your log.

You can reconnect at any time from the same screen.
